An angry father has punched his four month-old baby girl 22 times, leading to her death. The father, Cory Morris reportedly perpetrated the cruel act because the baby was making “baby noises” while lying on her changing table in her bedroom.
He had been looking after his daughter, Emersyn, while her mother was at work, and got annoyed when she started making baby noises and “interrupting him”.
Morris having realised what he had done, confessed to the baby’s mother and grandmother before reporting himself to the police. Morris’s clothe and hands were blood-stained at the time the police arrived the scene. The 22-year-old father was arrested, arraigned and jailed 25 years for the crime.
The baby was taken to a medical centre where she died.
